yay xD

my song: a life outside of you.

*don't ask me to post a vid of me singing it because my voice is terrible. ask wiffie or shuyang or any of the elementary school choir people. so anyway, here it is!! xD*

you may know me as that weird girl
but i know your view's not true
believe me when i say that
i've a life outside of you

because there's something about your blog's posts
that make my dreams into long-since-dead ghosts
crushing my spirits so i can't persevere
through times of darkness and worry
caused by you
i've a life outside of you

wish i could find a hidden place
where you won't find me
and crush my spirits so i can't live
and bear with you

you'll never understand
that i'm suffering 'cause of you
no matter how hard you try
you'll never have a clue
about my life outside of you

i'm a normal girl too
i have hopes and dreams like you
but you go out of your way
to ruin my day
please, what did i do wrong?

and no matter how much i tell you
no matter what i do
you'll never understand
no, you'll never get a clue
you'll never comprehend
my life outside of you

yes i've a life... outside... of you

SORRY!!!

couldn't blog OR schedule posts. I couldn't go online for a week. Instead, I had to pretend to be Hindu. Which is much worse than going online. I miss all the now-seventh graders. Most of the time, I pretended to be a college student in India and I'm so tall that everyone fell for it! The kids in India are in school now. That's why I passed off as a college kid: so people wouldn't think I'm truant for not going to school. There were three little kittens who were looking for food outside the temple, and Wiffie and I said they'd lost their mittens. xD. We went on two three-hour hikes and they were AWESOME. Bye for now... and go to this site!!

to wiffie

NO. "Dynamite" is NOT the most annoying song ever. So stop blasting it in my ears when you know I'm not getting annoyed.
:D :P

the KP people are so nice

Thanks, guys You're great friends. That's all I need to say.

reasons why i'm not a computer addict

It's true. I don't spend my every waking hour online. I'm actually a person! Like, ohmygosh! That is like SO surprising! (of course I'm being sarcastic.)
Yesterday I read for THREE HOURS. That's right. Three. Freaking. Hours. Do computer addicts do that? I went to the bookstore, and they had The Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I already read The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, so I chose to read it. It's kinda sad, from what I've read (half the book). I also read a bunch of random stuff which Wiffie brought. And I read Harriet the Spy. It's really good, trust me, even though Harriet skips school a little too much and there's some swearing (not a lot, but it's still there). The message behind the book is really valuable. Look at that, I actually read outside of school!
Also, I can outrun, outswim, and outbike basically everyone in my family. Including my dad, if it's short distances, because he's not a sprinter like I am. No offense, but fatness seems to run in my family, and I'm one of the exceptions, like my dad and some of my cousins. I'm actually more fit than those who call me a computer addict. While I'm playing outside, they're lounging on the couch, muzzle tucked into a computer, blogging about how I, the girl who goes on 5 mile biking trips for the fun of it, am more addicted to the computer than they are. As if that's possible.
If those stupid poops who call me a computer addict could sneak a peek inside my brain for just one day, they would be in for a shock. I have so much going on in my mind that thoughts enough could keep me occupied for a really long time, if I wasn't so restless. Computer addicts normally don't think about anything except CPUs.
And I don't even go online that much. The most I've ever been online on a school day is about two hours. I think I did three hours once, but that was because I had to do a research project thing with Britney and Myth and we wanted to finish it that day.
Look at that. I actually have friends. OMG, that is like SO shocking! (sarcasm again) Do computer addicts have friends? I don't think so! Unless you count a computer as a friend, of course. But all my friends are REAL PEOPLE!! (and a few rats, cats, and dogs. Basically, my friends don't have a metal processor for a brain.) I have some friends who I've never emailed before except for in school projects! (Rachel, Minsub [when I sent the band recording], Anney, etc.) And there are countless people (some are Oreo, Andrew, and S [he got a new email and I don't know it]) whose emails I don't even have! Most of my talking with friends is done in person. Not online.
I don't know of any computer addicts who can play piano, flute, and percussion. I spend a lot of time practicing music, so I can't go online as much as those stupid poops think I do. No computer addict has a goal of getting into All State Band, like I do. Computer addicts' goals are along the lines of, say, checking notifications and email every thirty seconds.
I don't even have one unread email in my inbox. But that doesn't prove I'm a computer addict! It can prove just the opposite, in fact. I don't get very many emails, eliminating the need for me to check every thirty seconds. When I do get an email, it's bound to be important. Sometimes I just mark the email as read because I know what it says already, and I want to minimize my computer time. Like no computer addict would
Do I fit your definition of a computer addict? No? Just what I thought. Lesson learned: Don't go around calling people names before you really get to know them.

DISCLAIMER: Sorry if this is offending to you, but remember that I've not had an opinion for very long.

today...

I am tired... dreaming about cuttlefish (thanks to Susan, who got into advanced band... LUCKYYYYY!!!). I went so far as to call my sister a cute little cuttlefish. Wow, I'm weird. YAY!!!
And I went walking on the beach with my cousin, who's starting college. She is really nice and one of the few reasons that I like it here. She let us leave early because of my injury and the fact that it was raining.
Should I get a cuttlefish picture?
Wait for it...
:)
OK, I'm hyper now. For no reason. Well, I'm Pixie, and I get hyper too much. It's a thing I do.

LALALALALALALALAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..........................
I'm a cuddly penguin named Bob,
A cuddly penguin named Bob.
I like to.....
Sing this song
For reeeeeeeally long
I'm a cuddly penguin named Bob.

I made that song up for Tweetybird. xD

Look at my demented Blogger profile pic now... LOLZ. That's why I don't normally wear my hair in two braids like that. I look weird and crazy, which is what I am. But not TOO weird and crazy... xD

i hate it here

I woke up at 3 in the morning today. I'm so jetlagged... but that was only an excuse to email my friends who are in a different time zone... no, I'm really jetlagged. And my dislocated nerve isn't helping. I had to go to a stupid temple and I almost fell down until Wiffie and my dad helped me walk. I hate it here, except for being on Vaishu's subcontinent. I hate temples and dislocating nerves and having allergies so bad that I can't breathe. I want to go to San Jose again.

100th post, like a bawss

vaishu and i are crazy... and some other stuff too.

Yup, read the title. We are crazy little hyper kids. We were making a plan to actually see each other in person again, which is not happening as long as our parents are in control. At least we're in the same time zone now, so we can email each other.

Now for other stuff...
I CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO THE CTY SUMMER PROGRAM THINGIE!!!!! (CTY = Center for Talented Youth.) It's THREE WHOLE WEEKS WITHOUT ANY PARENTS TO BOSS ME AROUND!!!! AND NO LITTLE SISTERS TO TAKE ME ON SHOPPING TRIPS!!!YAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want to have a religion. My parents and grandparents and etc. are all Hindu, but I don't believe in Hinduism. I don't want to go to the stupid temple anymore because there are too many stairs to climb for a girl with a dislocated nerve and the concept of gods is just plain ridiculous in my opinion. It's a really long story. Part of it: If God was so supreme, there wouldn't be any evil left in the world because it would have been wiped out by now. (Sorry if this bit offended you, but I've only started having a real opinion because I've never been listened to (which is the reason I blog.).)

omg... ouch.

I dislocated a nerve in my foot!! It hurts. I thought it was a mosquito bite, but it was actually a dislocated nerve. And now I'm doing nothing. Lalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..................................

I should try to make longer posts. It's just hard for me... *sighs*
Yup, I'm gonna do the video! After I get back from India.

I'm bored....................
OUCH!!!! MY FREAKING FOOT HURTS!!! STUPID NERVE DISLOCATION!!
Okay, I'll go away... bye.

i dislike it here

I can't talk at all (my voice is gone!), I have a monster mosquito bite on my foot, and I'm stuck in itchy traditional clothes. And my grandparents treat me like i'm three years old, but they only let me sleep with the lights on (?!?!?!?!?!?!?). I dislike it here. This is the world's worst vacation. I can't wait to go to summer camp after this stupid trip.

i reached there!!!

Yeah, I'm in India now. One of the best parts of it is that I'm on the same subcontinent as Vaishu, one of my best friends in the entire universe! I was just chatting with A, my friend who's in ninth grade, and she forgot who I am, even though we've been friends for 3 years! Then it turned really awkward until I decided to go stalk people's blogs. I'm bored... gotta stalk blogs.

i luv mile club

On Thursday, Britney and Vanilla (a new pixie who i'm planning to torture. vanilla is not her real name!!) and I were gonna run mile club. But it got cancelled because Britney couldn't come and she was the coordinator of the whole thing. So I went biking five miles instead. In India, I'm going to go swimming AND running AND do fifteen pushups and fifteen situps every day, so I'll be prepared to be... PIXIE THE SEVIE!!

(notice i haven't linked this post...)

i'm too interesting... (yes, i was awake at 5 am!!)

BTW, I've scheduled something for Friday already.

...on Friday. I can make blog posts from there, so I don't need to schedule posts... although i might :P
But it might take me a while to post. So whatever. But I'll post, I promise...

stupid spell checker

The stupid spell checker has a red line under "Yay." Why?!?! Once it said "river's" wasn't a word. And it almost made me replace "second" with "seconod". >.<

thanks, sixth graders!

Dear Miller Middle School's Class of 2014,
Thanks for an excellent year. I really don't know what to say. We sixth graders have come a long way since the beginning of the year. We've learned new things, made new friends, and much more. Our own 6th Grade Mustang Band got a Unanimous Superior at our CMEA Festival, when the director considered us one of her most unfocused and rowdy bands. Our 6th grade girls' track team won every meet this season, and we had success in a lot of other sports as well. We were overly crazy at times, but that just added to the excitement of an already wonderful school year. I really enjoyed getting to know you all, and I hope to see you next year and the year after too.
               From,
               Pixie

last day of school... and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm a sevie/seventh grader now!! I can torment sixth graders, like a bawss!!
Next year, I have intermediate band. I'm probably going to be with S and Alicia and Myth! Yay, although S is one of the more annoying boys I know, but we're still "allies." Sunny's going to a different high school. And I won't see her when I'm in 9th grade and she's in 11th. I'll miss her so much, as I will miss all my other friends who graduated. And next year, Prachi, Alicia, Iris (a flute player from advanced band) and a bunch of my friends that are a year older than me will graduate. I can't imagine them leaving! Now Karebear is scared of eighth graders (coughprachiandklutzycough). Speaking of Klutzy,I actually had the courage to speak to her today! She's the only current eighth grader who I'm scared of. I just said, "Hey, Klutzy!" I actually call her Klutzy in public, because I prefer it over her real name, which starts with an R. She likes being called Klutzy!! Just now, Britney and I had a chat status contest/fight and this is a result of it:

That was my chat status today. I changed it just now, and I'm not going to tell you what it is. So anyway, I'm super hyper, but sad because all my friends are leaving for summer. PLEASE click on this post. Thanks.

Monday, June 11, 2012

i post too much...

...because I do. OUCH my arm hurts. I scraped it on a fence. Klutzy, the seventh grader who will be an eighth grader, is influencing me too much even though I never see her.

I'll try to get around to recording myself and posting the link... might take me some time to get the courage to do it P= (facelick. credits to Susan.)

cute rats. for no reason.

I'm bored. Making useless posts is a thing I do. Yeah, I am that demented. Why am I demented? Because I am. No one knows. It's the biggest mystery ever... I hate factoring polynomials. That's what I'm supposed to be doing. Wait, I figured out how to steal the computer. LALALA. I'm bored. Let me look up cute rat pictures. Which aren't my own work.

Enough with the cute rats. BYE.

By the way... FLUTE PLAYING RATS FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and most flute playing humans too xD)

not working

WHY isn't my rat slideshow working?!?!?!?!?!?!
Gotta go pretend to do math homework. bye.

eli's contest

Wow... I'm too nice...
So anyways, Eli is having a contest to see who refers the most people to her blog. I want to join and get my blog more pageviews, so I'll put a link to her blog here:

results of sixth grade... and more stuff....

  • I started reading and writing stories a LOT more.
  • I learned what it's like to be in the percussion section, where you're the only one with your instrument and you just can't mess anything up.
  • I learned how to love running and swimming and biking.
  • I became more independent, doing basically everything on my own.
  • I became more athletic and not as overweight as I used to be.
  • I was introduced to just how mean some teachers can be (coughmygymteachercough).
  • I finally didn't have to be in the oldest grade in the school, so I could have friends who had gone through sixth grade tell me about it. (Puffyball, Sunny, Prachi, etc.).
  • I discovered the powers of spamming people (coughkarebearandprachicough)
  • I got my full range chromatic scale on flute!!
  • I learned the hard way that you have to at least care a bit about what others think of you.
  • I became more hyper and energetic, but also a bit calmer.
  • I started hiding my secrets from most people...
  • I figured out how to beat "this spammer who is a year older than me and hates Karebear" at swimming, and it was easy ;)
  • I made this blog, which I will keep spammer-free.
  • I found how to keep a blog/social network post/site spammer free.
  • I got a pet rat.
  • I started biking to school every day.
  • I got a computer in my room, so I'm online a bit more.
  • I finally could read adult books without freaking out at the swear words.
And most importantly...

  • I made my first REAL friends (Shuyang, Karebear, Prachi, Myth, Brittney, etc.)
I'll miss all my middle school friends over the summer. I can email most of them, but that's nothing compared to being with those awesome people in person. Thanks, everyone <3

story of today

My cousins (Kubby and Tweetybird) were at my house today. They both know I'm a drummer/percussionist, so they wanted to play on my bell set/glockenspiel. (yay, i spelled it right!) But they ended up almost wrecking it. I got so annoyed that I stole the flute and played the most obnoxious squeaky high notes in the history of the world. But they didn't notice and kept wrecking my glockenspiel. So I cleaned Wiffie's flute using a paper towel, like Shuyang's flute teacher does. Then I came back to Wiffie and my cousins and told them I cleaned the flute. Wiffie, the stupid brat, rolled her eyes at me, like she does every time I clean HER flute. This annoyed me because I'm not the kind of person who likes being defied, so I crept out of the house and went on a biking trip. I went to this place that even my parents and Wiffie don't know about. They thought I went on this trail near my house and immediately came back. I went on the trail, but near the end, I chained my bike to a tree and rock-climbed down a steep off-branch of the trail until I was standing on the banks of a creek. I explored for a while, then rock-climbed back up, got my bike, and went home. Now I'm in a robotics meeting. Bye~

coco is misbehaving

She almost bit me. Bad girl. And she's getting too fat because she is obsessed with sunflower seeds. Silly little ratster.

almost next year...

Summer vacation is almost here!!! I'm gonna be a seventh grader next year. Sevie (a.k.a. Prachi, which is her real name) will be an eighth grader. And all my eighth grader friends (like Sunny) will go to high school! NO! What if a new sixth grader comes in and starts torturing me (like Karebear tortures Sevie/Prachi)?! Wow, Prachi. I feel SO sorry for you. This kid you barely even know (Shuyang) genuinely hates you and calls you ugly and random seventh grade boys stalk you online and make inappropriate jokes about you and one of your friends (me) is your worst enemy's best friend. This is one of the reasons I don't want to graduate: THE NEW SIXTH GRADERS. Apparently, some of us sixth graders are extraordinarily annoying to older kids, although that doesn't include me because I have a lot of friends in 7th and 8th grades. Fine, you want to know the other reasons? Long story and don't make me tell it.

robotics was awesome today

We were supposed to start our project, but "CERTAIN PEOPLE" (coughpuffyballcough) had to start a pillow fight. It got out of hand from there. I wish Wiffie ditched her dance practice and came... xD

robotics

So, the new robotics season has started! Woohoo! My team this time has 10 people. One of them (Isa) has a brother who was on the team that went to the World Festival last year! How cool is that? Our team is called Forever Young (it wasn't my idea!!). We're making a site now. I'll tell you when it's up and running.

reward day

We had this thing called "Reward Day" at school. My eighth grader friend, Sunny, called it an "over-the-top" picnic for 6th graders. We'd be staying at school and doing activities while the 7th and 8th graders go to Great America!! Not fair.
So, we had one activity for each of 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th period.
For 3rd period, I was stuck with theater games or whatever. My friend Rhea was there, and she was the only person I knew who was in my group. So we did stuff, and then I went to my 4th period place, which was with one of my teachers (Ms. Chase). Minsub was there before me, and he told me he won two cupcakes from Ms Chase's cupcake walk. I knew it was true because I saw him eating them. I didn't win anything. Then I ate lunch with Shuyang and Karebear (who was happy because Sevie and Puffyball and Sunny and etc. weren't around) and Judy and Shelly and Athena, as usual. )I wasn't in anything with Myth, which was weird...) Then I went to my 5th period thing. It was in the field. This time, I recognized Susan, Rhea, Ellen, Shreya, Wendy, and Philip. We ran around and it was 6th period before I knew it. I was with Eli, the crazy girl from the track team. We did this bowling thingie, and then went home. Karebear was all hyper because there was no sign of Sevie. When Sunny called 6th Grade Reward Day an over-the-top picnic, I didn't agree at first, but now I totally do. It was boring.
(If you don't go to my school, sorry if this is confusing.)

an interesting incident

So... after school, I was walking my bike to the place where Shuyang, Karebear, and I hang out. Shuyang ran ahead, and Karebear and I took our time and randomly talked. As we were walking, Karebear was making me look out for Sevie. I saw her, standing really close to Shuyang, before she saw me. I didn't even try to catch her attention. She walked over and saw Karebear and said "hi" to her. Karebear tried to hide behind my bike, but I grabbed her backpack and tried to make her look at Sevie and called Karebear a "good girl". Shuyang saw the whole thing. She said, "Sevie is sooooo ugly and weird and..... stuff." (If you saw her, you'd find her really pretty!) Karebear agreed, and I freaked out because they were so mean. So I told Sevie today on email, and she didn't reply yet. She's probably freaking out too... Whatever.

just wondering

How did you come across my blog? I'm just curious to know what kind of people read this site, so I can make posts better suited for my audience.

Comment on this post to tell me where you came from!!! Make sure you have popups enabled, because my comment forms are in a separate window (so you won't have to wait for the original post page to load).

i didn't make it

...in advanced band. However...

  • Mustang Band (intermediate) is less pressure.
  • I can compare parts with Shuyang!
  • I didn't really want to go to Disneyland that badly...
  • I'm going to be in the same section as Alicia and Myth and S!
  • Advanced Band is first thing in the morning, which is when I play my worst.
  • I can make Mustang Band more awesome by contributing my services ;)
  • There are more people my age in Mustang Band, so I won't feel really tiny and stuff
  • There are more percussionists, so my boring parts might all get stolen :P
I'll think of more later... after I finish practicing.

my site

runner's high and a bunch of other randomness...

We had the 400 meter test (i got 1:35 or something) in PE last week. Right after the test, I wanted to run a mile. Sushi and Myth were staring at me like I was crazy. When I told Angela about it after PE, she said it was an endorphin rush. That happened when I did the mile test yesterday, too. I just finished running (eight minutes, unknown number of seconds) and collapsed next to the track. And then I wanted to run a marathon! Mary, Jenny and Leslie were staring at me like I was crazy, and we started throwing foxtails (socks with tennis balls inside them) around at each other. Leslie showed how to tie a person up. After PE, I told V about it, and she called our class "mental weirdos." I replied, "Yup, we're mental weirdos WHO COMPLETELY KICKED YOUR BUTT IN THE HOMEROOM COMPETITIONS!!" (my homeroom PE class won the competition this quarter) V was about to slap me with her PE uniform.

PIXIES. ARE. RANDOM. FACE IT.

random things that happened

Yesterday, Karebear and I were getting our lunches at school and Sevie was right next to us. So I freaked both of them out by poking Karebear's backpack (IKR?!) Then Sevie started laughing and Karebear shoved her face in her clarinet and Shuyang came over and started telling Sevie random lies about me and the whole time, Sevie was like, "That. Is. NOT. Pixie." Wow.

SEVIE IS A SPAMMER!! She spams random boys from school. She told me not to tell KAREBEAR about this, though. And I will. I'm such a traitor... BUT KAREBEAR'S AWESOME! Shuyang became a cannibal because she ate a M&M (which is her official nickname).

band concert. delayed post!!!!!!!

I couldn't post because I was performing! Once I get a video of the performance, I'll post it here.

Our first four songs were pretty good. I loved the last one. I didn't mess up because I practiced my parts! And Myth was AWESOME. She wasn't even off by a sixteenth note!!

The last song was different. We did it with the 7th and 8th graders. I shared a stand with this nice seventh grader, Alicia (or whatever her name is.) I messed up, and she was the only one who noticed and didn't tease me. Then we started sharing stories about measures of rest and injuring our fingers while playing crash cymbals. (It's nice to have a buddy in the percussion section because very few wind players understand measures of rest or crash cymbals or anything like that.) The director, however, didn't even notice my huge mess-up! Neither did Susan, who came even though she has beginning band. Sevie didn't come because she had swimming, but she told me that I probably did well just 'cuz I'm Pixie!

Wait... the spamming wars have started! Karebear and Sevie have each other's emails! That can't be good. I'm defending Sevie, not Karebear. Just kidding, I'm defending both of them. Sevie is a SPAMMER!
